Premature ejaculation and coping with being too quick off the mark

"Women don't like you if you ejaculate prematurely. I'm embarrassed when I ejaculate after what seems like only an instant after I've put it in," a 20-year-old university student told me. The three genital issues that most affect male confidence are small penises, pointy penises and premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation shouldn't be viewed as that much of a problem.

As long as sex is a matter for the two people involved, there's no such thing as a perfect amount of time for it. The amount of time a couple dedicates to sex should be decided between themselves, and no one else should have anything else to do with it. In NHK's 1999 study on Japanese sexuality and sexuality awareness, the average amount of time people spent having sex (which was meant to be the period from foreplay to ejaculation) was 33 minutes. The younger the respondent, the longer they spent having sex. But that figure was only an average. Sex doesn't become good just by taking a long time and it's not bad just because it's over quickly. It's more complex than that.

Academics have all sorts of opinions about what actually constitutes premature ejaculation. When deciding men who need to be treated for P.E., some experts say it's those who ejaculate within two minutes of insertion, while others say within 60 seconds and still more 30 seconds. Even more specialists say that premature ejaculation is that which occurs within 10 strokes from insertion. With so many different opinions among the experts, there's no clear definition of exactly what stage early ejaculation is actually premature.
